About Nathan Rogerson

Nathan is a clinical psychologist who qualified in 2002 from the University of Pretoria. He is registered with the HPCSA (Health Professionals Council of South Africa) in the category “Independent Practice (Clinical Psychologist)”. 

He has the following degrees:

1.) BSc (Human Physiology and Psychology) University of Pretoria

2.) BA (HONS) University of Pretoria

3.) MA (Clinical Psychology) University of Pretoria

Nathan is passionate about helping people become the best version of themselves. He has a wide range of both personal and clinical experience that informs how he works with people and businesses to promote change. Nathan’s focus is to help move people, their relationships and businesses positively forward. Continuous improvement is a value that Nathan lives by.

As a clinical psychologist Nathan works with people to overcome mental health challenges like depression, bipolar, anxiety, eating disorders, addiction, stress, ADHD and trauma. He has over 18 years of clinical experience in the field. The type of therapy that Nathan employs is engaging and interactive. He is a conversationally responsive psychologist who works in practical ways with his clients to develop new tools and skills for overcoming the challenges that they face.

As a professional coach Nathan helps people and businesses improve their effectiveness, creativity and overall performance. Nathan’s coaching approach was shaped by the over 10 years that he spent in senior leadership. He was the overall team leader for two private hospitals – one in South Africa (www.akeso.co.za) and the other one in Ireland (www.smarmorecastle.com). He has experience in developing teams, change-management, business development and all other aspects of running a successful business. He is now invested completely in the running of his own business and his coaching practice is becoming an increasingly dominant part of his focus.
